QUIROPRACTICA BARCELONA - GA Strategy

Presentation
For quiropracticabarcelona.com, we implemented a data-driven Google Analytics 4 strategy focused on understanding how organic traffic translates into user engagement and lead generation.
The objective of this analytics framework was to transform high-volume SEO traffic into actionable insights, identifying how users discover the website, interact with medical content, and progress toward contact and appointment requests.
This strategy was developed in connection with the SEO strategy for Quiropráctica Barcelona and the content strategy report, allowing us to measure how search visibility and content performance generate qualified traffic.
By combining acquisition analysis, event tracking, and user behavior insights, the project provides a clear view of how SEO-driven traffic evolves into real business opportunities.
Google Analytics – Performance:
2023
The analysis of user acquisition channels shows that Organic Search is by far the dominant traffic source, confirming a strong SEO-driven growth model based on high-ranking medical content.
According to the acquisition data, google / organic represents the vast majority of sessions, significantly outperforming Direct traffic and other channels such as referrals and social media.
From a global perspective, the website reaches more than 60,000 active users and over 60,000 new users, with an average engagement time of around 1 minute and 22 seconds, reflecting consistent interaction across content pages.
Content-driven pages are the main traffic drivers, especially articles related to conditions such as intercostal neuralgia and nerve-related issues, which generate the highest number of visits and user engagement.
The geographic distribution highlights a strong presence in Spain, particularly in Barcelona, while also attracting significant traffic from Latin America, reinforcing the scalability of the SEO strategy.
The project clearly demonstrates a scalable SEO acquisition model, where high-volume organic traffic is continuously generated through content visibility and search intent alignment.

Google Analytics – Events:
2023
The measurement strategy is based on a structured event tracking system that captures user interaction and lead generation signals across the website.
The data shows a total of over 390,000 events, with key interactions distributed across user_engagement, page_view, session_start, first_visit, and scroll.
High volumes of user_engagement and page_view events confirm strong content consumption, indicating that users actively explore multiple pages after entering the website through organic search.
Beyond standard interactions, custom events such as form_start, form_submit, click, phone clicks, and appointment-related actions provide visibility into user intent and lead generation behavior.
These interaction signals are key to understanding how informational traffic evolves into potential patients, especially through contact forms and appointment requests.
This event-based approach enables a detailed analysis of user behavior, helping identify which interactions are most closely connected to conversion opportunities.

Google Analytics –
Funnels & Explorations:
2023
Through GA4 analysis and user behavior exploration, we evaluated how users move from content consumption to lead generation actions such as contact and appointment requests.
The user journey is primarily content-driven, where SEO-optimized articles act as entry points that attract high volumes of users searching for specific health-related queries.
The data reveals a very strong top-of-funnel performance, with a large volume of users landing on informational pages and engaging with medical content.
However, the transition from content pages to conversion-focused pages such as /contacto/ and /pedir-cita/ represents the main optimization challenge.
While these pages receive a relevant number of visits, not all users progress toward final conversion actions, highlighting an opportunity to improve internal linking, calls to action, and user flow.
This type of analysis allows us to:
- Identify high-performing content that drives traffic
- Improve user journeys from content to contact
- Optimize conversion points such as forms and appointment pages
- Increase lead generation efficiency without relying solely on more traffic
By combining acquisition data, event tracking, and user behavior analysis, the strategy provides a complete view of how organic traffic is transformed into qualified leads, establishing a strong foundation for future optimization and growth.
